We gained our Communication Friendly 2-4's Status in 2022. Our Deputy Manager completed a level 3 and 4 course, then in order to achieve Communication Friendly Status, delivered training to the whole team, where new skills and practices were implemented to ensure that the whole team have the necessary skills to promote the development of communication and language in children aged 2-4 years. Once this was completed, the setting was audited to ensure that we met requirements, which we are pleased to say we passed in all areas. 

If you have any concerns about your child's speech and language development, once you are enrolled at our setting, we have procedures in place to support and develop your child's communication skills, work in partnership and provide support to you with ideas on how you can support this development at home, and make the necessary referrals if intervention is needed. This will help with ensuring your child is ready for their next step in starting school.
